Kidz Corner is a place where your child will explore God's Word in creative ways with the use of centers, sing new songs, and make new friends. It's about teaching them to trust and love the Lord today, in a way that will last a lifetime!

Gateway Church would like to welcome a new group starting called Route 56.
This group is for the children
enrolled in the 5th or 6th grade.
Early adolescence is a crucial time in life. Spiritual growth from ages 10 to 13 can lay the foundation for a strong, lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. Encouraging preteens during this time of growth is the goal of this new Preteen Ministry. We would like to partner with parents, as we begin this new venture.
Salvation is just the start of the journey for your preteen. We want them to understand that they're beginning a life-long adventure of knowing Christ, and following Him in whatever direction He leads. As Christ taught us, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me." (Luke 9:23) And the apostle Paul said, "For to me, to live is Christ." (Phil. 1:21)
No longer considered "children," we want your preteen to begin to examine Christianity and the claims of the Bible - will they accept these teachings as their own, or simply consider them "my parents' religion"? Will they put them into daily practice, or leave them as "head knowledge"? Our main purpose in teaching the Word is to see life change. "Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock." (Matt. 7:24)

The AWANA Club PInewood Derby will be held on Saturday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m. Our Derby Car worshop is Saturday,
February 27 at 10:00 a.m.
Cost for a derby car is $5.00.
Study the books of Joshua, Judges and Ruth with this year's quiz team. Quizzing meets Sundays, in the Yosemite room, at 9:00 a.m.
Have you ever considered volunteering on a rotating basis? Candy would love to discuss your williness to serve with you and find the perfect place for you in this ever growing ministry. Positions are available in MOPs, AWANA, as well as on Sunday morning.
